What is DISC?
You probably already know that DISC is an acronym that stands for the four main personality profiles described in the DISC model: (D)ominance, (I)nfluence, (S)teadiness and (C)onscientiousness.
It's essential to understand that DISC is a tool for dialogue, not diagnosis. It does not measure intelligence, aptitude, mental health, or values. DISC can be used in many different contexts -- from teams and families to education and organizations.
There are no bad letters - every DISC profile brings its own set of strengths and insights to the team or situation. We all express each personality type represented by the letters DISC in some form.
Also, it’s essential to understand that, as the psychological theory of reciprocal determinism states, personality is affected by environments and situations. Therefore, there is no comprehensive personality assessment, and personality is not fixed. Additionally, DISC assessments are a snapshot of our behavioral tendencies - it doesn’t aim to box or pigeonhole people into categories that feel incorrect to them.
If you are relaxed, focused, and thinking about what you would do in a specific role, for example, at work, then your assessment results will likely make you feel seen and help you understand some key elements such as internal and external conflicts, tensions, energy loss, communication issues, etc.

The internationally awarded DISC assessment I offer produces a variety of customizable individual and team report options: general development for behavioral self-awareness (Self), executive coaching & development (Leadership), behavioral profiling for sales training (Sales), enhancing customer service communication (Service), or behavioral insights of one’s self in consulting (Coaching).
Your DISC assessment can help you gain insight into your own personality and behavior styles, as well as those around you, and can help you improve your communication skills with personalities that differ from yours.
The debriefing is where we’ll discuss your DISC profile report results in detail. We'll analyze the report together and unpack actionable items that you can take back into your everyday life.
Understanding your personality and behavioral styles gives you the power to recognize others, appreciate differences, and work together more effectively. Whether you’re striving for collaboration or conflict resolution in the workplace, DISC can help improve your communication and your relationships.
The findings are a snapshot in time, not an answer book or personality box. Each report will offer unique insights, giving you the opportunity to draw your own conclusions on how you can best interact with those around you.
Remember that all the letters, colors and personalities represented in DISC are good and essential to the creative process - there are no bad colors (or letters)!
DISC Profile Report, Assessment and Debriefings are $150.00 per person (up to 9 people)
For groups of 10 or more, please contact me for discounted pricing.
